The Sri Dhanwanthari Deenabandhu Ashramam is a deeply compassionate project, born from the poignant reports of elderly mothers abandoned by their families and profoundly inspired by the noble wishes of Aryettan. This initiative represents a heartfelt commitment to providing solace and dignity to those who have been forgotten. A significant step in this endeavor is the construction of a new four-story building near the Balika Sadan, meticulously designed in traditional "Thachu Shastra" architecture, ensuring a harmonious and culturally resonant living space.
Upon completion, this Ashramam will serve as a sanctuary for over 15 destitute and disabled elderly women, offering not just shelter but also comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs. Residents will receive free medical care, compassionate counseling services, and opportunities for spiritual nourishment through yoga and meditation. Additionally, the Ashramam will house a cultural study center and a library, fostering intellectual engagement and a sense of community. This noble institution is envisioned as a living memorial to Aryettan, a testament to selfless love, and a dedicated haven for the revered mothers of society who deserve comfort and respect in their twilight years.
